Maybe you already knew this, but a new Zimmer runs around $300,000. THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND AMERICAN DOLLARS. What. The. Fuck.
The cheapest model is around 240k, and a 4 door limo is nearly 400k.

That much style and luxury doesn’t come cheap. It is bespoke just like the Rolls Royce of yesteryear.

But it is just so damn ugly. The styling does not blend with the modern cars they try to kit them too.

Oh yeah total crap. I wasn’t being serious

That just looks like a Mustang crashed into an automobile museum.

I feel like at one point it was based on the fiero

So that stupid fox body Zimmer custom I saw at a car show was actually the most expensive car there? Fuck that.

Correct, and it’s actually not that bad-looking if you didn’t know it had an Iron Duke mid-engine setup and pop-up headlights that ruin the clean looks.

There was a Zimmer with a different style that was Fiero based.
Behold the Zimmer Quicksilver!

That’s a relief.

Ah yes the quicksilver

Probably not, because depreciation is absolutely horrid. There’s a chart on their site that shows what you’ll likely pay for a used model. Most of the 80's and 90's ones are estimated at 15-25 depending on condition. Since it’s from the manufacturer, I’m guessing it’s optimistic and they actually sell for even lower.

As terrible as it is; it may be the best looking Zimmer. Keep in mind I still think it’s ugly.
Holy crap, here’s one for $35,000.

My god. They’re still making these abominations. And now with Mustangs..

Yep, and they’re not even as well made or as detailed as the ones from the 1980s (which were still vulgar, of course, but at least they made somewhat of an attempt to disguise the Mustang bones).
I see that they are now basing the 4-doors on the Cadillac CTS, wonder if anyone has actually ordered one yet? Something tells me that isn’t going to pull off the look as well as the Town Car, if you can call that well.

They’ve been making them again since maybe the late ‘90s or so. Ever since Art Zimmer realized that another guy with coincidentally the same surname built the originals in the 1980s, so he did what any sane person would do, secure the trademark rights and start making them again.

You know it’s worth that much because of all the exclamation marks in the ad.

That’s what happens when you hire your nephew to be the head of online sales when his chief qualification is selling 3 cars on Craigslist. Though he’s probably better than average at spotting low ballers since he always knows what he’s got.

The worst part is people actually buy them. As in I’ve seen more than one in the last year alone.

TIL they still make Zimmers, inexplicably. I thought these died 20 years ago. They certainly should have.

I ask you, who among us would not drive that?
